We look forward to welcoming you to Nottingham. Our 2026 conference 'Weaving the Interfaith Tapestry' will give us an opportunity to come together from our different faith and belief perspectives and reflect on how we can continue to build positive interfaith relations on campus. 

We are excited to welcome for our keynote Professor Kristin Aune who will speak on Building interfaith relations on campus: creating conditions and curating conversations. Professor Kristin Aune is Senior Research Fellow at Regent’s Park College, University of Oxford, and Visiting Professor of Religion and Higher Education at Loughborough University.

In the afternoon, delegates will be able to choose to attend two workshops. You can read about the workshops on offer here.

10am Registration

Come over to the registration area to collect your lanyard and a hot drink

10:30am Home groups with conversation cards

Get to know a few other conference delegates as we reflect together on threads of hope, identity, difference and compassion

11am Welcome

Celebrate coming together for this annual conference 

11:15am - 12:15pm Keynote 

Listen to an inspiring talk from Professor Kristin Aune. There will be time for Questions and Answers too

12:15pm to 1:30pm Lunch

Enjoy a delicious deli style lunch, pray, share in great chats, or take walk outside

1:30pm to 2:30pm Workshop 1

Dive into your first workshop of the day

2:30pm to 2:55pm tea and coffee break

Recharge with refreshments and catch up with colleagues

2:55pm to 3:55pm Workshop 2

Head to your second chosen workshop

4pm to 4:30pm Plenary

Join us to wrap up the day together

PRACTICAL DETAILS

The conference fee this year is £50, and lunch and refreshments are included. Please let us know any dietary requirements when you book. 

The University of Nottingham is accessible by public transport, with a regular tram service from the train station. For those who prefer to drive, parking is available free for conference delegates. Please indicate when booking if you would like a parking permit.
